Friday - Hillsboro Nov 5 - Ross Hershbarger, 75, died at his home in this town Thursday afternoon at one o'clock, after an illness of a year. Complications caused his death. The deceased was born the son of Levi and Nancy Hartman Hershbarger, of near Veedersburg, April 1, 1856. He was the last surviving member of a family of six children. On July 4, 1886 he was married to Miss Anna Melissa Reid. Surviving are the widow, two sons, Lloyd and Claude and two daughters, Mrs. Lola Long and Mrs. Ruby Stockdale and 7 grandchildren. The dec lived in the vicinity of Hillsboro for 25 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Methodist Church in Hillsboro. Burial in Rosedale (Rose HIll) cemetery here. -- kz
